What is InvestIgnite?

InvestIgnite is a project aimed at helping high schoolers throughout the nation develop basic financial knowledge. We distribute knowledge on the subject through seminars, interactive games, social media, and newsletters. We are helping to create a basis for the future generation of adults to be financially prepared. We taught all the basic tools of finance such as stocks, credit, debit, loans, budgeting, insurance, taxes, and retirement.

Our Problem

$1.03T

The amount owed by Americans in debt (Annuity).

77%

Of High School students don't have access to financial literacy courses (National Endowment For Financial Education).

48%

Of adults are Financialy Literate, with the percentages showing a downward trend (TIAA Institute).

In the United States, the average adult American has a debt of $104,215 due to a lack of proper financial education (Business Insider). We realized that if we don't help find and create solutions for this major problem, our generation's future will be the same as countless others, living without financial literacy knowledge. Thus, we decided to help teach teens the basics and help set them up for a better future, one with financial literacy in it.
